Town Employee Appreciation Lunch Celebrates Blowing Rock’s Everyday Heroes

Yesterday, the Blowing Rock community came together at Chetola Resort to celebrate and

thank the dedicated employees who keep our town running beautifully every day.

The luncheon was made possible through a generous donation from Bob and Susan Hambright to The Village Foundation of Blowing Rock. Their thoughtful gift allowed every town employee to enjoy a special lunch at Chetola, along with a $100 Visa gift card and a one-year membership to the resort, courtesy of Chetola Resort.

Representatives from many of Blowing Rock’s nonprofit organizations were also in attendance to show their appreciation and support for the men and women who maintain our parks, streets, public safety, and town services throughout the year.

The event served as a heartfelt reminder that Blowing Rock’s beauty, charm, and spirit are sustained not just by its scenery, but by the people who care for it each day.
